In the UK, the most common type of e-cigarette is refillable, with 50% of e-cigarette users saying they mainly use this product. Disposable e-cigarettes will become more popular in 2023 compared to 2021 and 2022. In 2021 and 2022, the UK disposable e-cigarette usage rates are 2.3% and 15% respectively, while in 2023 it is estimated to reach 31%. Among people aged 18 to 24, the use of disposable e-cigarettes has increased rapidly, with 57% of e-cigarette users in this age group mainly using disposable e-cigarettes.
